Role Overview
This position provides administrative support to the Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Urology Department. The role ensures smooth daily operations and coordination of patient care activities.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Support the provider with day‑to‑day needs
- Schedule patient appointments
- Conduct follow‑up calls
- Manage Cerner messages
- Maintain and update the provider’s schedule
- Communicate and collaborate with multiple departments
- Provide basic administrative and technical support, including:
- Calendar management
- Meeting coordination
- Travel arrangements
- Invoice processing
- Responding to inquiries
- Address basic administrative or technical issues with minimal guidance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–3+ years of relevant experience; prior administrative experience preferred
- Experience working in a matrixed or complex environment is a plus
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
