About the role

This position provides administrative support to the Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Urology Department, including scheduling appointments and managing provider calendars. The role also involves conducting follow-up calls, processing invoices, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

Role Overview

This position provides administrative support to the Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Urology Department. The role ensures smooth daily operations and coordination of patient care activities.

  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the provider with day‑to‑day needs
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Conduct follow‑up calls
  • Manage Cerner messages
  • Maintain and update the provider’s schedule
  • Communicate and collaborate with multiple departments
  • Provide basic administrative and technical support, including:
  • Calendar management
  • Meeting coordination
  • Travel arrangements
  • Invoice processing
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Address basic administrative or technical issues with minimal guidance

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0–3+ years of relevant experience; prior administrative experience preferred
  • Experience working in a matrixed or complex environment is a plus
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
