MRI Technologist in Training
The MRI Technologist Trainee will perform standard and specialty MRI procedures under supervision while maintaining safety and ethical standards. They are expected to demonstrate competency in routine MRI exams within six months of starting the program.

Job Summary: The MRI Technologist Trainee will learn to perform a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance (MR) procedures with accuracy, utilizing radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with supervision.
Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.
Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.
Must demonstrate competency performing routine MRI exams within six months of commencement of the MRI training program.

Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology with 12 months of experience in diagnostic radiology. Required credentials include ARRT certification in Radiology and BLS certification, with IV credentialing if applicable.
