LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Fremont, CA Work Schedule: Monday to Friday hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.

Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collecting payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)

Preferred Qualifications

1 or more years of experience as phlebotomist Current or prior experience with Labcorp Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English Additional Job Standards: In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. 6 months or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients Pass a standardized color blindness test Be at least 21 years of age Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision At LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Pay Range: $23.00-$33.00 Float Incentive: Additional $1.50/hr. plus mileage reimbursement All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
