Type: Full-Time Join Our Lamesa Team! South Plains Rural Health Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Big Spring clinical team. This position is a great opportunity for a dependable, compassionate healthcare professional who enjoys working directly with patients and supporting providers in a busy outpatient clinic environment. What You'll Do As part of our clinical team, you will help ensure patients receive efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities may include: Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information. Assist providers and nursing staff with patient care. Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies. Assist with patient flow throughout the clinic. Document appropriate information in the electronic health record. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and other members of the healthcare team. Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements. Perform additional clinical duties within the scope of your certification and training.
Current CNA certification or Medical Assistant certification required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic computer and electronic health record experience preferred. Why SPRHS?
