Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CT Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations.To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others.

Independently performs CT and radiographic procedures at a technical level.

Ensures all CT and radiographic images are of diagnostic quality.

Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray and CT scan (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc.) Uses proper technique to reduce patient exposure to radiation (ALARA).

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited two-year Radiology Technology program and hold current ARRT, AZ DHS, and BLS certifications. At least one year of experience performing CT and radiographic procedures in an emergency room setting is required.
