Responsibilities
What You'll Do As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll help lead the daily clinical care of residents while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compassion. Responsibilities include: Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established nursing standards. Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to physicians, Registered Nurses, and interdisciplinary team members. Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants while promoting teamwork and quality resident care. Assist with direct resident care as needed. Implement and monitor individualized care plans to ensure residents receive person-centered care. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including medication administration records, treatment records, nursing notes, and physician orders. Safely manage controlled medications in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in physician rounds, care conferences, admissions, transfers, and discharge planning. Maintain compliance with infection prevention practices, quality assurance initiatives, and state and federal regulations. Collaborate with rehabilitation, dietary, social services, and nursing teams to promote positive resident outcomes.
