About Resilience Behavioral Health Georgia Resilience Behavioral Health Georgia provides behavioral health treatment services at its Peachtree City facility. The Opportunity As a Group Facilitator, you will lead structured therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for clients in the daytime clinical program. This role works closely with the clinical team to support each client's treatment plan, reinforce coping and recovery skills, and maintain a safe, structured group environment. This position is paid on a per-group basis for facilitators who prefer flexible, session-based scheduling.
What You'll Do Plan and lead daytime therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for clients, following the program's curriculum and treatment approach.
Support clients in applying coping, communication, and recovery skills during sessions, and monitor group dynamics, escalating concerns to clinical leadership as needed.
Document attendance, participation, and clinical observations in the EMR in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning and clinical staffing.
Maintain a safe, organized group room environment.
Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing training as required by Georgia licensure or certification standards.
Required Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Credentialed to provide group counseling in Georgia. Qualifying credentials generally include licensure as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists (O.C.G.A. § 43-10A); or an addiction counseling certification such as CADC-II or CAADC through the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia (ADACBGA) or the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA). Ability to work within scope of practice and under any clinical supervision structure required for the credential held. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in group facilitation or a behavioral health treatment setting, ideally with dual diagnosis populations. Working knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements. Strong group facilitation, de-escalation, and documentation skills. Daytime, on-site availability at the Peachtree City, Georgia facility. Preferred Prior experience facilitating groups in a PHP, IOP, or other licensed behavioral health setting treating co-occurring disorders. Familiarity with evidence-based group curricula such as CBT, DBT skills groups, or Seeking Safety.
Compensation: $75.00 per group facilitated.
