Here’s What You Need

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Relevant experience or training program preferred

1 year of previous anesthesia tech experience preferred

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required You What Will Do

Provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care.

Provides support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care.

Protects patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment, and understanding equipment function.

Maintains supply, equipment, and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services. Maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom.

Daily computer support. Troubleshoots equipment. Able to support Anesthesiologist in Optime.

Entity Highlights: Since 1987, Texas Health Denton has served the Denton community and surrounding areas including Corinth, Lake Dallas, Argyle, Sanger, Aubrey, and communities throughout North Texas and southern Oklahoma. As a 255-bed, full-service hospital with more than 1,100 employees and 486 physicians on our medical staff, we're one of the largest employers in Denton County. We offer advanced care in robotic and endovascular surgery, general surgery, orthopedics and sports medicine, spine and back services, emergency medicine, and bariatric surgery. Additional services include cancer treatment, critical care, neonatology, cardiac CT imaging, neurology, electrophysiology, stroke care, vascular care, women's and infants' services, interventional radiology, and wound care including hyperbaric treatment. Our four-story Women and Infants Specialty Center features twelve labor and delivery beds, two C-section suites, six antepartum beds, and 23 postpartum beds. We are Denton's only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care and the largest provider of obstetrical services in the City of Denton. The facility's ground floor includes a dedicated breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and our internal medicine residency program. Texas Health Denton is a Joint Commission-accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a certified Chest Pain Center, a Comprehensive Heart Attack Center, a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and a Magnet-designated hospital. Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and BCLS certification. Previous anesthesia technician experience or training is preferred.
