Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs. Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs. Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer. Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy. Preference is given to those with hospital experience and national PTCB certification.
