Market context

California surgical tech roles stay competitive

In California, surgical technician roles are typically in steady demand across hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and specialty practices that rely on consistent operating room support. These positions are competitive because employers often look for formal OR technician training, current BLS certification, and preferred NBSTSA certification, along with readiness to work in fast-paced surgical settings. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save research time, then confirm your training and certifications match before applying.
