What You'll Do

As a Medication Technician, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. You won’t just be administering medications, you’ll be a trusted caregiver, a health advocate, and a comforting presence in their daily lives. In this rewarding role, you'll ensure medications and treatments are delivered with accuracy and care, support daily health monitoring, and provide compassionate, hands-on assistance that helps our residents thrive. Key Responsibilities Administer Medications & Treatments – Pass medications and provide treatments safely according to care plans.

Provide Hands-On Care – Assist residents with personal care (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

Support Mealtime – Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for overall health.

Promote Mobility – Assist with turning, positioning, and safe transfers to keep residents moving safely.

Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.

Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep residents’ rooms tidy, cozy, and stocked with essentials.

Respond to Resident Needs – Answer call lights promptly and provide compassionate support.

Monitor Resident Conditions – Report any changes to the leadership team immediately.

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess at least one year of medication passing experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience as a caregiver for seniors and familiarity with EMAR systems are preferred.
