As a Shahbaz (CNA), you’ll play a vital role in protecting, sustaining, and nurturing the lives of the elders in our care. This unique position goes beyond traditional caregiving—it’s about building meaningful relationships and supporting a rich, dignified elderhood. The Shahbaz (CNA) provides compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, while also creating a warm, home-like environment through cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and more. Your care helps foster independence, respect, and a high quality of life for each elder.
Key Responsibilities Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Support Mealtime– Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with nursing and clinical teams to follow care plans, report changes in condition, and ensure seamless, person-centered care.
Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
Candidates must hold a current and valid Michigan Certification for Nursing Assistants (CNA) and be at least 18 years of age. Experience in direct elderly care and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems are required.
Home Environment Support: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home by assisting with housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation based on resident needs and preferences.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Must have a current and valid Michigan Certification for Nursing Assistants (CNA).
Must be at least 18 year of age or older.
Experience providing direct care to the elderly.
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
Ability to read, write, understand and carry out directions.
Ability to perform job related duties which may require lifting, standing, bending, transferring, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing and pulling.
