Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Certified Surgical Technician at CHI Williston Health, you will help surgeons and registered nurses maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment so they can provide exceptional patient care and successful surgical outcomes.
Every day you will prepare the procedure room and provide direct assistance during invasive procedures.
You will be expected to demonstrate expert knowledge of sterile techniques, anatomy, and surgical instrumentation.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of sterile field protocols, have a foundational knowledge of surgical anatomy, and be committed to the mission, vision, and philosophy.
Operating Room Preparation: Ensure the procedure room is fully equipped with the necessary instrumentation and sterile supplies prior to the start of each surgery.
Sterile Field Maintenance: Establish and maintain a strictly organized sterile field, ensuring all team members adhere to environmental controls and decontamination standards.
Surgical Assistance: Actively assist the surgeon by providing optimal visualization of the surgical wound, aiding in wound closure, and applying sterile dressings.
Clinical Proficiency: Apply in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and specialized instrumentation to support surgical services and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
We are offering a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
