Role Purpose Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.
Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity. Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times. Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
