What You'll Do As a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and fellow team members. Responsibilities include: Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and common spaces Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect, and sanitize assigned areas Maintain a safe and organized environment by properly storing cleaning supplies and equipment Dispose of trash and biohazardous waste according to facility procedures Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms and honoring personal preferences whenever possible Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and pest activity promptly Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to support exceptional resident care Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned From Up to
A high school diploma or GED is preferred for this position. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or environmental services is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Dependable, positive, and committed to providing outstanding service This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
