Hospital Outpatient Coder
The Hospital Outpatient Coder is responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines. They also resolve coding edits and denials to support clean claim submission and maximize reimbursement.

Remote position with expected work hours from 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri.
The Hospital Outpatient Coder supports the Coding department in various functions, including ensuring accurate hospital outpatient coding, resolving coding edits and rejections, and maintaining coding compliance. This role is critical in supporting onshore revenue cycle operations by enabling clean claim submission and maximizing appropriate reimbursement. This role involves coding, auditing, providing coding expertise, implementing process improvements, and staff training.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and an active coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC. At least two years of experience in outpatient hospital coding and proficiency with Epic software are required.
