The staff nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is responsible for providing compassionate care to and assessment of ambulatory patients within the Department of Urology. The Staff Nurse is responsible for screening patients, providing patients pre- and post-operative teaching, assisting with office procedures, and verifying test results. The Staff Nurse will work collaboratively with the members of the care team to develop treatment plans that will achieve optimal patient outcomes
Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. The role requires 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience and excellent communication skills for patient triage and documentation.
