Experience

Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Education

1. High school diploma or equivalent, along with a strong background in math, is required. 2. Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of computers, aseptic technique for IV preparations, and medications routinely stocked in the pharmacy, as necessary.

Licensures/Certifications

  • Effective
  • May 1, 2020: Must be certified Pharmacy Tech or be enrolled in accredited Pharmacy program or progressing towards PharmD.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a strong background in math. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program is required.
