RAD TECH I (Student Tech)

• Description RAD TECH I - TWO 12HOUR SHIFTS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
• Safety Sensitive Job Performs high-quality diagnostic services by following established procedures under the guidance of a Registered Technologist. Follows physician’s orders to provide quality diagnostic data for interpretation by the radiologist. Under the general direction of the Director of Radiology, responsible for 1 shift, 12 hours/week, as well as the rotation of shifts as necessary including weekend shifts, and holiday duty as required by SMCRMC. Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

Requirements

Enrolled in a certification program that is an AMA approved in Radiological Technology Program or working prior to 1987 in radiology under the ARRT grand-father clause. Must be in training in an approved Radiological Technology Program. Must be willing to learn and assist in multiple modalities.
