Physical Therapist Assistant – Evergreen Opportunity This evergreen requisition is used to identify qualified Physical Therapist Assistants for current and future opportunities. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll help patients improve their mobility, regain independence, and achieve meaningful therapy goals in the comfort of their homes. What You’ll Do Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the established plan of care. Help patients work toward goals that improve mobility, strength, function, and independence. Monitor patient progress and promptly communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and techniques that support continued progress. Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices, including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics. Deliver safe, high-quality care in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines. What Is Required? Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license valid in the state of practice. Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Six or more months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred. Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including assisting with patient positioning and transfers. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
