The Multi-Modality Specialist is responsible for operating various medical imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound to support departmental goals. They also assist in patient care by safely transporting patients and preparing contrast agents for imaging procedures.

Job Summary

Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis.

Education and Work Experience

Associate's
Degree in radiologic technology: Required
Bachelor’s
Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require
Bachelor’s): Preferred
Master's

Three years' technical experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic
Life
Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per
