What You’ll Do Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using established protocols and independent judgment. Review patient histories, verify physician orders, and ensure proper documentation. Administer oral and rectal contrast as directed by policy. Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment for accurate data acquisition. Ensure exams are properly coded, tracked, and archived within system protocols.

Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of the program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date. CPR or BLS Required ARRT Certificate Act 34 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
