- What
- You’ll Do: Perform CT procedures using advanced imaging technology and established scan protocols, including contrast administration. Review patient histories, assess orders, and document procedures accurately in the electronic record. Operate and troubleshoot complex imaging equipment, ensuring all exams are properly coded, archived, and billed. Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders while assessing patients for risk factors. Demonstrate sound judgment in adjusting protocols and applying ionizing radiation safely and effectively. Provide compassionate care—communicating clearly, ensuring comfort, and maintaining patient dignity at all times.
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program.
ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT registry within 6 months of hire date.
CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired.
CNMT graduates must obtain CNMT registry within 6 months of hire date.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist is required or certified by a CNMT program.
ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT registry within 6 months of hire date.
CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire if primary registry is already obtained.
CNMT graduates must obtain CNMT registry within 6 months of hire date.
CPR or BLS Required.
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
