MRI Tech - PRN Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation. Job Duties: Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician orders. Perform basic image processing techniques such as windowing, reconstruction, and multiplanar reformatting to enhance visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities. Assist radiologists and physicians in image interpretation. Position patients appropriately on the MRI table and provide instructions for maintaining stillness during the examination to minimize motion artifacts.
Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Registered by the ARRT required Military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program can substitute for Associate degree requirement BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire Preferred Requirements: Two years’ experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
