Job Summary 36 hours d/n rotation, weekends and holidays

Bigelow 14 is a dynamic 27-bed acute medical unit dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions.

As a Staff Nurse on Bigelow 14, you'll practice in a collaborative, patient and family-centered environment where primary nursing drives individualized care and meaningful patient relationships.

Working alongside a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, including a unit-based Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Director, and experienced healthcare professionals, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen your clinical expertise while making a direct impact on patient outcomes.

Summary

Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Requirements

The position requires a minimum of one year of RN experience and an Associate's degree in Nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred. Candidates must hold a valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.

Qualifications

No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse RN - MA License Experience Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment. Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided. Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
