Responsibilities

The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease. The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation. Performs all task necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care. QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Associates Degree (preferred) Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study) Maryland North Float: Must be willing to travel to the following locations for coverage: Annapolis, Bel Air, Columbia, Easton, Frederick, Glen Burnie, Hagerstown, Towson, Rosedale, MD and Mechanicsburg, PA Coverage in 1 office per day. Schedules are typically given out a month in advance but are subject to change based upon clinical coverage needs. Typical hours are 7am-5:30pm EST 4, 10-hour shifts-off every Saturday and Sunday and 1 day during the week #CVRJOBS

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program. An Associate's degree is preferred, and the role requires travel to multiple clinic locations.
