What You’ll Do Greet, accept and prepare the patient for x-ray and fluoroscopy procedures. Crosstrain into MRI and/or CT as assigned. Assess and document patient’s condition to determine proper handling and special requirements. Ensure positive experience for the patient while at any PMI facility and uphold company objective for patient satisfaction. Check requisition for physician notes and/or special instructions. Instruct and assist patients in assuming physical position for appropriate test. Provide x-ray and fluoroscopy services in a timely manner while performing high quality procedures. Adhere to procedure protocols as established by the Medical Director. Enforce radiation safety procedures to provide a safe environment for patients and staff. Safety procedures for other modalities may apply if certified. Maintain x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment/rooms in proper working condition. Report malfunctions and necessary repairs to manager. Keep autoclave in working order and sterilize instruments. Keep all crash carts up to date. Order and keep inventory of all medical supplies. Train and support peers and new team members, sharing knowledge, demonstrating best practices, and ensuring consistency in processes across the department. ARRT license or ACR accreditation requirements must be met for all modalities performed. Student CT State License is required. Ability to do essential job duties. Ability to read, understand, speak, and follow English instructions. Bilingual preferred. Display superior interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and peers.
