About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant will rotate between various clinic locations to provide skilled interventions aimed at improving patient mobility, pain management, and function. They will also monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans, and educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.

Rock Valley Physical Therapy is looking for a talented and committed Physical Therapist Assistant to rotate between our clinics in the Western Illinois/Central Iowa region/s. In this position, you’ll deliver high-quality, individualized care that truly makes a difference in patients’ lives while enjoying a positive and upbeat workplace. You’ll have the chance to work with a diverse patient population, collaborate with experienced practitioners at a variety of clinic locations, and have fun along the way.

What you’ll Do

Rotate among Rock Valley locations; your assignment will be determined by regional needs (such as patient care demands or maternity leave coverage) and will incorporate your input.

Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, pain management, function, and overall quality of life.

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term wellness.

Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals and community partners.

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented clinical environment.
