Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join us in our mission to help individuals achieve and maintain a healthy weight in our Lewes, DE office.
in four key areas: Nutrition Planning: Collaborate with dietitians to create comprehensive nutrition plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals. Provide ongoing support and education on healthy eating habits. Fitness Integration: Incorporate fitness and exercise recommendations into patient treatment plans. Work closely with patients to set realistic fitness goals and monitor progress. Behavior Therapy: Implement behavior therapy techniques to address emotional and behavioral factors contributing to obesity. Provide support to help patients overcome challenges in their weight loss journey.
Prescribe medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, monitoring patient responses and adjusting medications as needed.
Current Physician Assistant license Current DEA license Experience in weight management, obesity treatment, or a related field is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
