The Medical Assistant provides support to the physician, physician extender, and the patient for patient care services. Collaborates with physicians, physician extenders, and all other clinical staff to optimize a positive patient experience, improve efficiency, and workflow. The Medical Assistant is an advocate on behalf of the practice and the patient with outside healthcare facilities and ancillary agencies involving the patient's care, required services, durable medical equipment, and the patient's insurance carrier.
