Pay

$18.00-$21.65 per hour - Depending on Experience and Education

Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off: Overnights

Job Summary

As a Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will provide for the physical and emotional needs of the clients assigned to your cottage and facilitate a healthy group living experience. You will also participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients. This position is great start to gain experience in the mental health/social services fields!

Responsibilities

Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including

  • Providing meals and snacks
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Monitoring medication
  • Intervening in crisis situations

Facilitate a healthy group living experience, including

  • Creating a positive and supportive environment
  • Managing conflict
  • Enforcing house rules
  • Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients, including:
  • Attending treatment team meetings
  • Providing input on treatment plans Implementing treatment plans

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Class E driver's license with good driving record
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent time management
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency

Must be 21 years old to apply

Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required

Requirements
