About the Position
NAVIX Diagnostix is seeking an experienced Vascular Technologist / Sonographer to join our growing team providing patient care in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.
In this per diem role, you'll be performing a broad range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations that support accurate diagnoses and positive patient outcomes. Working closely with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams, you'll utilize advanced vascular imaging skills to produce high-quality diagnostic studies while delivering exceptional patient care.
You'll have the opportunity to perform a diverse range of vascular studies, including cerebrovascular, arterial, venous, and visceral vascular examinations, allowing you to fully utilize and expand your vascular imaging expertise.
This position offers a high level of professional autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with physicians while exercising your clinical judgment and vascular expertise. What You'll Do
In this role, you will
- Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, including cerebrovascular, arterial, venous, and visceral vascular studies
- Obtain and review patient history and clinical information to support accurate diagnostic interpretation
- Produce high-quality ultrasound images and related data in accordance with NAVIX and client protocols
- Recognize significant or life-threatening abnormalities and communicate findings appropriately to the medical team
- Maintain equipment, documentation, supplies, and regulatory compliance requirements while supporting a safe and efficient patient care environment
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Ensure patient and employee safety while maintaining compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
What You'll Bring
- Required Qualifications
- Active RVT, RVS, or RT(VS) credential
- Current BLS certification
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of non-invasive vascular ultrasound experience
- Experience performing a broad range of vascular diagnostic studies
