About the role

Responsible for the sterilization of hospital and clinic instruments under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager. Ensures proper maintenance and handling of surgical equipment within the facility.

Position Summary

Responsible for the sterilization of appropriate instruments within the hospital and clinic, under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager with input from the OR Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

High School graduate or GED. Completion of Sterile Processing Certification Program preferred, or two years experience in an Operating Room instrumentation area or related field. Must be able to stand for long periods of time walking and lifting up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
