This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, first shift position located at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. The Lab Specimen Processor reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The specimen processor is responsible and accountable for receiving, processing, labeling, distributing specimens, and performing non-high complexity testing as required. The position requires a thorough understanding of laboratory specimens as well as the HIS/LIS computer systems. The Processor will be required to perform customer service duties and other clerical duties as the job dictates.
Required: Maintain organization of work while multi-tasking. Attention to detail critical. Must be able to follow instructions. High school graduate or equivalent.
