As an RN, you'll provide evidence-based, patient-centered care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, advocate for patients, and help drive positive outcomes. What a Registered Nurse/RN Will Do: Provide patient-centered care for patients requiring short-term monitoring and evaluation. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families. Use evidence-based practices and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes. Identify risks and maintain a safe care environment. Float to other units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. About This Location: Join our Med/Surg Observation team in Sheboygan, where you’ll care for patients requiring short-term, focused monitoring and rapid clinical decision-making. This unit offers a fast-paced environment that strengthens assessment skills, clinical judgment, and efficiency in care transitions. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and supportive team that values communication, teamwork, and continuous learning. What a Registered Nurse/RN will Need: RN license in applicable state BLS required (additional certifications may be required based on specialty) Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred Key Skills: Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking. Ability to manage fast-paced, short-stay patient populations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities Physical Requirements: Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling, including assisting with transfers. Must respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Requirements

Candidates must hold an active RN license and BLS certification, with a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program preferred. At least one year of clinical nursing experience is typically preferred for this role.
