About the role

The pharmacist will integrate patient-oriented services with distributive drug control activities as part of a clinical healthcare team. They are responsible for providing drug information and advising physicians and nurses on drug interactions and safe therapy for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Schedule: M-F 6a-6p Sat-Sun 8a-430p (up to one weekend per month)

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. PREFERRED:1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience. 2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice. 3. Good communication skills. Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 6a-6p Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Previous hospital or retail pharmacy experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills.
