Your responsibilities may include: Supporting veterinarians with patient care, examinations, treatments, and procedures Assisting with diagnostic and medical procedures Providing compassionate and safe patient handling and restraint Supporting patient treatments and medication administration Assisting with laboratory and diagnostic testing Supporting surgical and anesthetic procedures as appropriate to your experience and credentials Maintaining accurate patient medical records Communicating clearly with veterinarians and fellow team members Educating and communicating compassionately with pet owners Collaborating with the team to maintain an efficient workflow Helping maintain a positive hospital culture Keeping patient care and treatment areas clean and organized Asking for help when you need it—and offering help when a teammate does Listening patiently as clients explain why their dog, cat, bird, or rat is unquestionably the best one that has ever lived Occasionally participating in a cat rodeo What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who brings veterinary technical skills along with kindness, teamwork, curiosity, and a genuine desire to keep growing.
