Provide compassionate support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, and household maintenance.
Support individuals in achieving goals identified in their Individual Service Plans (ISP/IHP).
Encourage independence, community participation, relationship building, and personal growth.
Provide supervision, guidance, and skills training that enhance quality of life.
Maintain a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment.
Administer medications and follow prescribed health care programs.
Transport individuals to medical appointments, day programs, community activities, family visits, and recreational opportunities.
Monitor for health, behavioral, or safety concerns and respond appropriately to crisis situations.
Complete documentation accurately including daily logs, medication records, incident reports, behavioral documentation, and goal tracking.
Collaborate with Residential Managers, Lead DSPs, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and licensing activities.
Ensure compliance with DDD regulations, HIPAA requirements, agency policies, and safety standards.
Maintain the safety, wellness, and dignity of all individuals served.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of residential services.
