Schedule includes 7:00 AM–3:30 PM every other weekend and every other major holidays; follows a regular 5-day rolling workweek. Nursing Assistants are responsible for:
Assisting the nursing staff in providing care to clients in a residential treatment environment Under the supervision of a registered nurse, taking client vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels; and documenting readings as appropriate Monitoring clients’ self-administration of medication and observing medical reactions and reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff Conducting periodic dorm checks, client, and property searches to ensure the safety and well-being of clients Performing a variety of other tasks such as storing supplies, changing biohazard bags, answering telephones, photocopying, scanning and filing documents and forms
Current certification as a Certified Nursing required Minimum 6 months related work experience as a nursing or medical assistant required Current CPR required Experience with adults/adolescents in a residential treatment center a plus
Range begins at $16.93 - $23.16 per hour Starting rates are determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and relevant skills. Alpharus Health conducts annual performance reviews, with merit increase eligbility determined by employee performance and organizational financial performance.
