- Concordia at Bethlen is a faith-based, non-profit continuing care retirement community located in historic Ligonier, Pennsylvania. We provide paid training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant through classwork and lab skills. - Rate of pay while in the class is $17.50/hour. Once each student "graduates" from class, they are paid $20/hour while working on the floor prior to testing. In addition, Concordia at Bethlen provides $2.50/hour shift differentials for afternoon and $1.00/hour shift differentials for midnight shifts.. Once CNA certification is obtained, base wage increases to $21.25/hour. Full-time and part-time positions are available for daylight, afternoon, and midnight shifts and include an every other weekend rotation. Next CNA Class begins soon!! CNA Training Program Qualifications: Must be caring, compassionate and understanding High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will have the ability to provide direct care for the residents here at Concordia and get to work in an environment with the best staffing ratios. Main Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities: assisting residents with eating and drinking ambulating, transferring, toileting, bladder and bowel management personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning documenting the care that was provided providing treatment per the ADL/treatment book answering resident call bells and responding to needs promptly.
