A robust Employee Assistance Program that includes financial, legal, mental health, and wellness services and programs. Employee Discounts (access to more family fun to include travel, sporting events, attractions such as theme parks, movie theaters, restaurants, and much more) to recognize and support your emotional well-being and maintain a healthy balance. After all, every family FAN needs to have fun!

But here’s a known family secret, being part of one, does take effort – it’s all about what you do (your responsibilities/contributions) and how you do it (your behaviors/superpowers) -- so here are

some of the things you can expect to experience as you build your FAN club in this house.

There will be challenges

• Just like families, disabilities come in different types. You will see many of them along with the mental health challenges in the Individuals (aka the Program participants) that we serve. You will also learn about the different agencies and resources we work with to help you provide support directly, or indirectly, to the Individuals.

There will be chores

  • You will provide assistance in the initial and on-going assessment of participants and work with assigned Individuals, their family and “circle of support” (e.g., social service agencies, health care providers, etc.) to ensure that behaviorally challenged and/or medically fragile Individuals can develop and/or maintain positive experiences while participating in community social programs and daily routines. You will accomplish this by identifying, documenting, and providing first-hand training and developmental support across a broad spectrum of activities, e.g., in the areas of physical health, personal grooming, mobility, job and personal skills training, effective communications, socialization and coping skills and other customized interventions based on their Individual Service Plan and Restricted Health Care Plan.
  • You will perform basic medical treatment as prescribed and provide first aid as needed. You will also take special care to document and complete all reporting in an accurate and timely manner. Engaging in proactive and open communications with all key stakeholders will be a priority, including advocating for any treatment modifications, alternative training methods, need for adaptive equipment, etc.

There will be chats, C.A.R.E., & cheers

You will participate in all required training, team, and company meetings to build your knowledge, skills and abilities to grow in the family. We like to promote from within our own house!

You will take ownership of your own behaviors, and help coach others over time, in how to effectively demonstrate the company’s C.A.R.E. values (compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment).

You will receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback and be recognized for your personal and team contributions in addition to demonstrating the C.A.R.E. values.
