The Occupational Therapist will perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions in an acute hospital setting. They will also educate patients and families on care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978. We current seek an exceptional State Board Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Woodland Hospital, Woodland, CA.

The current need is for a California licensed Acute Occupational Therapist interested in a part-time position. This position is great for a new graduate as the strong and solid team are able to train!

Focus on early mobilization, safe discharge, and preventing further functional decline in hospitalized patients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions
  • Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait and functional training
  • Educate patient and family on proper care plans
  • Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided

Requirements

Candidates must be State Board Licensed Occupational Therapists in California. The role is suitable for new graduates as training is provided by the existing team.
