Overview Join Loretto Health and Rehabilitation as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! Loretto Health and Rehabilitation is currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for our Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation Center! This facility is comprised of the Cunningham building, a 13-floor, 487-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility, and Fahey Rehab, a 96-bed short-term residential rehabilitation program that serves adults and is the largest in Central New York.
Assumes team leader role, accepting responsibility and accountability for all resident care on designated team, including providing direct physical nursing care, with respect to the following list of general duties: Performs resident care according to policy/procedure and standards as delegated by the Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, RN, or Charge Nurse Demonstrates appropriate knowledge base when performing resident care Provides for the emotional & physical comfort and safety of the resident, family, &/or caregiver Observes residents for specific signs/symptoms as instructed by NM, CC, or RN Observes for changes in clinical or functional status, and reports changes to NM, CC, or Supervisor in a timely manner Assists residents with ADLs and any special care needs as indicated by NM, CC, RN, or Charge Nurse for which they are properly educated and trained Recognizes and responds to emergent situations efficiently and effectively by managing self, residents, staff, and others appropriately
