Covenant Case Management Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to members enrolled in the North Carolina Innovation Waiver. You will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech or language disorders. Assess members' auditory, visual, motor, and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate speech device recommendations. Provide training on devices and equipment to ensure proper usage. Adhere to NC Medicaid Innovation's clinical coverage policy 8-P for Specialized Consultative Services. Utilize standardized assessment tools to evaluate speech and language abilities. Manage cases independently by maintaining accurate records and progress reports. Collaborate with the team to recommend equipment eligible for Medicaid and Innovation Waiver coverage. Utilize tele-consultation services when necessary.
Background Checks: Successful completion of a criminal background check. Registry Status: Not listed in the North Carolina Health Care Abuse Registry. Candidate must be a resident of the state of North Carolina. Driver's License: Valid North Carolina driver’s license.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
