Summary
Our Behavioral Health Technician serves in a direct care role with the primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Located in Harford County, Maryland, our Joppa Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders, and has a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. - $15/hour before shift differentials

- Shift 7:00am - 3:00pm, 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm, 3rd 11:00pm - 7:00am, at least 1 weekend day usually included in schedule 1st

Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete the intake process with new clients into the program Maintain client documentation Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable Coordinate client activities Follow the objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment Assist with the dietary needs of clients Complete all required training Other duties as assigned License, Education, & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred Apply Today Start a rewarding career in behavioral health and mental health support! ***Due to the nature of behavioral healthcare work and our responsibility to ensure client safety, candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state‑mandated clearances.
