Sterile Processing Tech at Surgical Institute of Reading
The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgical cases.
Qualifications: · High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
· Completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program is preferred
· Experience with all types of sterilizers
· Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
· Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
· Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
