Under supervision the Central Tech I processes, sterilizes equipment and instrumentation. The Tech I issues and receives supplies and equipment according to established procedures and maintains an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status. The Tech I is responsible for receiving and responding to all calls for product, equipment and supplies.

Required Qualifications
Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, or
Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
Experience in general office practices and procedures.
Candidates must obtain a National Certified Registered Central Service Technician or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certification within one year of hire. Experience in general office practices and procedures is required.
