Interventional Cardiologist Citrus Cardiology Consultants | The Villages, Florida Position Overview Citrus Cardiology Consultants is looking to add a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to our established physician-led team serving The Villages and Leesburg communities.

This position provides the opportunity to maintain a diverse practice with a combination of interventional procedures and some general cardiology care across our local clinics, hospitals, and ambulatory surgical center (ASC).

Key responsibilities/services include: Coronary interventional procedures including bread-and-butter PCI and complex coronary interventions Optional peripheral vascular interventions based on training and experience General cardiology services including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, inpatient consults, and outpatient cardiovascular care Collaboration with CT surgery teams for complex cardiovascular cases Participation in STEMI Call rotation of 1:5 Monday-Friday schedule The incoming physician will join an experienced team of interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, APPs, nurses, and administrative professionals, with the resources and support needed to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care across affiliated hospitals and clinic locations.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, lucrative production bonuses, STEMI stipend, additional incentives, comprehensive benefits package, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine Board Eligible / Certified in Interventional Cardiology Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology training programs MD or DO Eligible for Florida medical licensure Peripheral vascular experience preferred, but not required Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology certification preferred Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality outcomes Eligible for H-1B and J1 physician waiver sponsorship through the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission Citrus Cardiology Consultants is a Partner Practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).

Requirements

Candidates must be board certified in cardiovascular medicine and board eligible or certified in interventional cardiology. Completion of accredited training programs and eligibility for Florida medical licensure are required.
