- What You'll Do
- Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
- Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
- Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
- Provide patient education in individual and group settings
- What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Current LPN licensure in Pennsylvania or compact licensure with multistate privileges
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient care
- Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
Where You'll Work Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 60 - bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Nestled on 5.19 acres of the beautiful Poconos mountains, this homey yet modern establishment provides the ideal setting for clients to cleanse themselves of all harmful substances and embark on their journey to sustained recovery. With round-the-clock supervision and care, our clients' every need is met with dignity and compassion before it arises. Our dedicated staff include skilled primary therapists and clinicians, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors and behavioral health technicians - all of whom help to create a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere which fosters openness and healing.
