Highlights: Summary: The Sleep Technician will work under the general supervision of the Manager, as well as the Lead Technologist. This individual will perform a wide variety of polysomnographic studies. The Technician will analyze data, score polysomnograms, and compile data into a report for physician review. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. At least one prior year of direct contact patient care preferred. EEG, LPN, EMT, Respiratory Therapist, or previous sleep experience preferred. As required by the AASM standards enroll in the A-STEP online self study program within two weeks of hire and complete the program within the given AASM deadline. Prefer proficiency in the principles of polysomnography and electroencephalography. License / Certification: BLS required, ACLS preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
